Vignetted carte-de-visite portrait of Colonel John Hendrickson, 13th Veteran Reserve Corps. The regiment was organized on October 10, 1863. Hendrickson was given the rank of colonel on September 29, 1863 and he was eventually given a brevet promotion to Brigadier General on March 13, 1865.
