Oil Painting of Summer Cloud

Image

Photograph of an original oil painting of a dramatic sky scene by Sid Boyum. The works shows a broad cloudy sky over a dark rural landscape, divided by a narrow road. Hanging over this countryside, and centrally located in the composition, is a large black "donut-shaped" cloud with silvered edges. Rain in straight lines falls abstractly from the lower left edge of this cloud. The canvas is propped against a yellow and red wall. A gray letter "S" in the lower right hand corner suggests attribution to Sid.
