These maps, drawn by William H. Canfield in 1852, illustrate mounds primarily in Sauk County, Wisconsin, in the towns of Greenfield, La Valle, Merrimac, Prairie du Sac, Sumpter, and Winfield. Additional mounds in the Town of Kingston, Green Lake County, and the Town of Aztalan, Jefferson County, are also depicted. The sheet also includes an illustration of a skull. Some illustrations include brief descriptions.
