This house contributes to the Jefferson Avenue Historic District as an example of the Colonial Revival style. The style elements include symmetrical form and massing and fenestration of multi-light windows. The main entrance is decorated with a fanlight and there is a large brick chimney rising from the main elevation. These are features often found on Colonial Revival houses. Roy Richards was vice president of the Brittingham and Hixon Lumber Company. |
