2011- "Built in 1950, the boiler house (1450 Summit Ave.) is rectangular in plan with a concrete foundation and brick walls. The building consists of two distinct masses: a shorter, gable-roofed northern mass and a taller flat-roofed southern mass. All of the lower window openings of the building have been covered by metal sheeting. The windows of the top floors are large multi-pane factory windows with hinged four-pane panels that open for ventilation. Entrances are located at the ground level of each elevation."
