This two-story commercial vernacular building , built c.1890, has walls clad in brick veneer and a parapet with a simple metal cornice. The lower story of the front (north) facade features a recessed entrance and large storefront windows separated by metal columns, although the transoms visible in a historic photograph have been infilled. The upper story windows have segmental arch brick headers and flat stone sills, and contain downsized double-hung replacement sash. A modern sign is suspended from a metal pole on the upper story of the front facade. A small window opening near the rear of the east (side) elevation has been infilled, and a small elevator is located at the rear of the building. The brickwork on the west side of the facade indicates that a neighboring two-story building was removed. An adjoining c.1900 one-story commercial vernacular building now extends from the west (side) elevation.
