Additional Comments This picturesque version of the Queen Anne style has a hip and gable roof with many projecting gable ends decorated with bargeboards and crosspieces. The house is covered with clapboards and decorated with horizontal and vertical boards. Windows are irregular in size and placement. Porches on the house are elaborately decorated with woodwork, including bargeboard pendants, brackets, spool-and-spindle work, square posts, and other wood decoration.

This house is an outstanding example of the picturesque version of the Queen Anne style. Often called a "Painted Lady," if its trim is painted in multi-colors, or a "Victorian," house, this building represents what most people think of as the Queen Anne style. It is one of the best, if not the best, example of the style in the city.

This house was the home of Thomas Dockery, a contractor and realtor, between 1905 and 1911. It was the home of Berthold and Esther Kremer between 1917 and 1942. Berthold Kremer was the owner of the Kremer Drug Company.

Initial research indicates that this house is not historically significant. Further research may uncover information that makes it significant in the future.
