2016- "Oscar Schoengarth was the son of the local brick maker born in 1879. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin, practicing law until he was elected Clark County Judge in 1906. He built the house as a gift to his new bride. He was re-elected county judge until his retirement in 1956, when his son Lowell replaced him on the bench. The house exhibits a gamble roof with deep flared overhangs."
