Mini-Grant Funding Available for Wisconsin Historical Society Affiliates

Do you have a project that needs funding support? Each spring, affiliates can apply for grants up to $700 for projects and activities that support collections care and management. The 2020 grant cycle is now closed. Mini-grant application materials for 2021 grants will be posted in early 2021.

Mini-Grant Resources:

The Wisconsin Historical Society and Wisconsin Council for Local History are pleased to announce that 19 affiliated local historical societies received a total of $10,077 through the 2020 mini-grant program.

Recipients of the 2020 mini-grant included: Badger History Group, Door County Historical Society, Dr. Kate Newcomb Museum & Woodruff Historical Society and Library, Ephraim Historical Foundation, Farmington Historical Society, Fort Atkinson Historical Society, Green Bay Fire Fighters Historic Preservation Foundation, Lafayette County Historical Society, Lake States Railway Historical Association, Luck Area Historical Society, Norskedalen Nature & Heritage Center, Ozaukee County Historical Society, Prairie du Chien Historical Society, Sauk County Historical Society, Sterling Eureka & Laketown Historical Society, Tigerton Historical Society, Tomah Area Historical Society, Winnebago County Historical & Archaeological Society, and Wisconsin Maritime Museum.
