Mini-Grant Funding Available for Wisconsin Historical Society Affiliates

Do you have a project that needs funding support? Each spring, affiliates can apply for grants up to $700 for projects and activities that support collections care and management.

Guidelines and applications for the 2025 grant season will be available in January 2025.

2024 Mini-Grant Recipients

The Wisconsin Historical Society and Wisconsin Council for Local History are pleased to announce that 18 affiliated local historical societies received a total of $10,433.99 through the 2024 mini-grant program.

Recipients of the 2024 mini-grant were: Buffalo County Historical Society, Dr. Kate Newcomb Museum, Woodruff Historical Society and Library, Kenosha County Historical Society, Lafayette County Historical and Genealogy Society, Inc., Lake States Railway Historical Association, Manitowoc County Historical Society, Milwaukee County Historical Society, Milwaukee Police Historical Society, North Prairie Historical Society, Omro Area Historical Society, Pulaski Area Historical Society, Reedsburg Area Historical Society, Sauk County Historical Society, Saukville Area Historical Society, Tomah Area Historical Society, Waupaca Area Genealogical Society, Waupaca Historical Society, and Winnebago County Historical & Archaeological Society.
