A view of the parlor (foreground) and music room of the George Brumder residence at the corner of Grand (later Wisconsin) Avenue and 18th Street. Both rooms feature a fireplace and chandelier fitted for both gas and electricity. There are three urns on the mantle in the parlor, and a framed print or painting on the wall. Ornate draperies frame the wide doorway between the two rooms.
