It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. IONIC COLUMNS SUPPORTING PEDIMENT IN PORTICO. ORIGINALLY STOOD ON THE CORNER OF 9TH AND MAIN; MOVED TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF 9TH AND LAKE; AROUND 1911 MOVED TO CURRENT LOCATION. HABS-WI-28-1. South Side Historic District Walking Tour Guide, 1993: It stood originally on the southeast corner of Ninth and Main. Sold to Henry and Lily Mitchell in 1883. The Mitchells moved this house to the rear of their lot--to the southwest corner of Ninth and Lake. About 1911 it was finally moved to its present location.
