2000- 2-story, frame construction, asphalt shingle roof, Gabled Ell house on fieldstone foundation, dates from ca. 1895. House is clad with Aluminum siding and displays 1-over-1 windows. A hip-roofed front porch with aluminum-sided closed rails is tucked into the ell. The house is an undistinguished example of a vernacular form. the aluminum siding and closed-rail front porch have compromised the historic integrity of the house. No historical significance was found during the survey conducted for the 2000 WisDOT project. A formal Determination of Eligibilty (DOE)was not recommended. |
