Additional Comments STICKWORK. PIERCED BARGE BOARDS AND TRUSSES IN GABLES.

2000-
2-story, brick, Gabled Ell house appears to have been built ca. 1895. Roofs are clad with asphalt shingles and the foundation is fieldstone. The influence of the Queen Anne style is displayed in the shingles, half-timbering and leaded glass window in the gable ends. The house features segmental-arched window openings with brick hood moldings, cornice boards and a polygonal bay window enriched with wood panels. The house has been with replacement windows in reduced openings, and a wrap-around porch with closed rails. A flat-roofed, concrete block garage that dates from ca. 1930 encroaches on the house's southwest-facing elevation.

The house is a good example of a Gabled Ell house, but its integrity has been compromised by the replacement windows and reduced openings and the closed-rail wrap-around porch. No historical significance was found during the survey for the 2000 WisDOT project.
