Sanborn-Perris maps show that this small one-story Astylistic Utilitarian form building was built as a gasoline filling station between 1911 and 1938. The building has hollow tile walls that are clad in stucco and it appears to be largely intact. 1995- Sanborn maps show that this small, intact, square plan one-story building was built between 1911 and 1938 for an as yet unknown owner. The building is clad in stucco that has been troweled over building tile walls and most of the few original door and window openings appear to be still intact. The most notable feature of the building is its hip roof, which extends forward out over an open service bay that once sheltered customers and the now-vanished gas pump. This roof, which is supported by two massive stuccoed piers, has boxed eaves. Demolished prior to 2018 |
