Future Milwaukee Braves shortstop Johny Logan (left) and second baseman Jack Dittmer, photographed as members of the Milwaukee Brewers minor league team in 1952. The Brewers were a farm club for the Boston Braves. Logan played briefly for the Braves in 1951, but returned to Milwaukee for the start of the 1952 season. Both he and Dittmer joined the big-league Braves later in 1952. Both players moved to Milwaukee along with the Braves in 1953. Dittmer played for the Milwaukee Braves from 1953 until he was traded to Detroit after the 1956 season. Logan played for the Milwaukee Braves from 1953-1961.
