A 'site file' titled "Horlick Industrial Historic District" exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 2011- "Built in 1914, the 3-story depot building (1450 Summit Ave.) is rectangular in plan with a raised concrete foundation, cream brick walls, and a flat roof. The patterned cornice and the corbelled corner capitals found in the two main factory buildings are repeated in the depot building. Windows are 2-over-2 double-hung with brick segmental-arched hoods. The front elevation faces southwest and displays regular fenestration in the second and third stories and irregular fenestration at the first story. Two individual doorways are located at the first story of the southwest elevation; both are located above the raised concrete foundation wall; the original raised platform that enabled efficient truck loading is no longer present.
