Wisconsin's National Guard encourages men to enlist

The Wisconsin National Guard issued this recruitment flyer to increase the number of enlisted men in the Milwaukee Cavalry. Presenting two scenarios--to either wait for the war or to prepare ahead of time and join now-- the National Guard depicted the man who answered the call to service early as the man of courage and strength.
