The history and making of Holeproof Hosiery
Better Hosiery: The story of Holeproof
Carl Freschl began experimenting with hosiery in his family store in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1872. Moving his operation to Milwaukee soon after, Freschl's company grew rapidly and became known for its high-quality, light, and durable hose. This booklet traces not only the development of Holeproof Hosiery, but also the place of hosiery in world history.
