Women's Suffrage Bill in Wisconsin


The Wisconsin Senate voted unanimously to pass a state woman suffrage bill on March 31, 1909, but the measure was defeated the following month in the Assembly. These two newspaper clippings are part of the Miller NAWSA suffrage scrapbooks at the Library of Congress.
