Cadwallader Colden's History of the Five Nations... (1747) presents the Iroquois side of the story.

The History of the Five Indian Nations of Canada...

Colden, a Scottish-born doctor and scientist, came to American in 1710 and in 1720 became surveyor-general of New York. In his travels and correspondence he had many opportunities to gather information from libraries, frontier settlers and Indian elders, and his book (which first appeared in 1727) has long been considered an invaluable source of information on the Iroquois during the previous century.
