Adventures of Nicolas Perrot, 1665-1670
Perrot recounts his years in Wisconsin with detailed descriptions of the various Indian tribes and the hardships they suffered from Iroquois attacks and white incursion. His journals, now lost, comprise much of the text that appeared in 1716 under the title Histoire de l'Amerique Septentrionale.
